Ask any kid under 5 what their favourite show is right now, and chances are, they’ll say Paw Patrol. Cartoon puppies running around and protecting the community, what could be more entertaining to a 2 year old?
Edmund’s 2nd Birthday Party was a Paw Patrol fan’s dream. Set up at their home, his family had set up a marquee area filled with colourful themed paraphernalia and decorations. Everything from the balloons, cups, lolly-bags, serviettes, cupcakes and the birthday cake were themed to Paw Patrol. Everywhere you turned was a vibrant wash of white, red, and navy, making for some really fun pictures. Edmund even got a chance to meet a life sized Chase from the show. I think that’s what 2-year-old dreams are made of!
And the Paw Patrol crew weren’t the only animal guests on the scene. Edmund and his friends from his play group were also treated to a farm animal petting zoo with guinea pigs, baby goats, you name it. A pony ride rounded out the animal activities for the afternoon. When it comes to any 2-year-old’s birthday party, endless entertainment — animals or otherwise — is pretty much mandatory to keep everyone happy, parents included!
I first met Edmund when I photographed his christening. It was good fun getting to see and photograph him again, especially for another great celebration with his family and friends.
You only turn 2 once, and Edmund’s 2nd birthday will surely be one to remember.
