Lauriston House Dundas Valley is a heritage listed historical wedding venue, popular for its Italian, villa-style architecture. Vicki and Jason chose to spend the entirety of their big day at the romantic venue, including their ceremony in Lauriston House’s garden, photos and reception.
Vicki and Jason were one of the unfortunate couples who had their wedding — originally set for May 2020 — postponed due to COVID. While they still faced COVID restrictions for their rescheduled wedding in January, they made light of the situation! At the time, face masks were still mandatory in many indoor settings, and were worn during the ceremony, so we decided to commemorate the situation. These huge group photos with everyone masked up will be a fun and one-of-a-kind memory for years to come.
We finished off the night with a special photoshoot under the venue’s fairy lights and garden structure. Nothing says romance quite like some twinkly lights under the stars!
It has been really exciting and fulfilling to capture the weddings for all those couples who had to postpone their weddings last year. Good things come to those who wait and I’m looking forward to continuing to witness and capture more couples’ long awaited big days!
